Collision...there was a collision today in DC.

I take the red line to Silver Spring. The accident happened a little after 5pm between Silver Spring and Takoma. Thank God I was not on that subway. I took the 5:45pm one at the Union Station, and I found out about this whole accident when my mom called all the way from Utah. She saw the accident on national news! I was confused and worried at the same time. So I was heading to the metro to Silver Spring and lo-and-behold the metro did not move at all. Lots of people have been waiting in the subway. I went in so that I don't miss it. After 5 minutes, it moved. Then we stopped at Rhode Island station to take the shuttle straight to Silver Spring. However, because of the accident, there were hundreds and hundreds of people waiting for the shuttle. I had to wait an hour and a half to get on the bus that's available. People were pushing to get on the bus. I was frustrated to see that but anyways...I texted/talked to my friends to let them know I'm safe ♥ I got on the bus and we had to stop to Fort Totten to switch to another bus to get to Silver Spring. Took me 3 hours to get there...and I bought some fries yay. >:
